We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our OPS BI DAS team You'll work on real AI applications that drive Shopee's operations — from fraud detection, product review automation, and customer service classification to invoice/payment risk analysis and anti-money laundering
【 What you'll do】
-Support and optimize existing NLP/CV/LLM models (LSTM, BERT, Vision Transformer, etc.)
-Conduct data analysis & monitor model performance
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI into real business workflows
-Contribute to new model design & development
【What we're looking for】
-Background in CS, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields (internship or project experience welcome)
-Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
-Familiarity with NLP models (e.g., BERT, LSTM)
-Curious, proactive, and eager to apply AI in real-world scenarios
【Nice to have】
-Knowledge of CV models, LLM/RAG concepts, Prompt Engineering, or AI tools
-Experience with GCP or Airflow
