ElevATE Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Customer Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Taiwan and be a key player in optimizing product quality and enhancing customer satisfaction.
The devices developed by ElevATE are complex analog devices (large analog, small digital content). As we drive business growth in the product ecosystem, the Senior Customer Quality Engineer is expected to drive product quality improvement activities.
This is a high-visibility role, offering the opportunity to serve as the first engineering presence in our Taiwan office and a critical liaison with our global customer base.
Responsibilities
- Own customer RMA process, execution, and associated problem-solving
- Act as a single point of contact for all customer quality inquiries, issues and concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define corrective actions, implement test improvements, process improvements, and prevent recurrence.
- Travel to customer facilities to work with their engineering teams to define the problem statement
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field
- 5+ years of professional quality engineering experience in a customer focused role
Proven analytical problem solving skills with an emphasis in failure analysis and fault isolation
Experience in silicon characterization and system level troubleshooting
- Knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes, assembly, and test
- Understanding of benchtop or ATE testing
- Semiconductor and PCB experience, preferably in a fabless semiconductor or electronics company
- Must be able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English verbally and written
- Ability to operate with a continuous improvement mindset, and deliver on commitments
This position is based in Taiwan. Compensation will be competitive and aligned with each candidate's experience, qualifications, and market standards in Taiwan, in compliance with applicable local employment laws.
