Introduction to the job
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain scalable , secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure for Core IT APAC. The role ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based systems while collaboration with cross-functional teams to automate deployments, monitor environments, and continuously improve cloud operations in alignment with business objectives.
Role and responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud architecture for infrastructure, platforms, and applications using Azure, GCP environment and align with Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)
- Follow the guidelines established by the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and Implement best practice for security, high availability, and compliance across cloud environment
- Monitor cloud environment for performance, availability, and security
- Collaborate with DevOps, security and operation teams to integrate cloud solutions into development lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.
- Document cloud architectures, workflows, and security measures for reference and compliance
- Stat up to date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovates solutions
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
Skills
Work Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineer roles
5+ years of professional experience and demonstrated proficiency in IT infrastructure management
Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Technical Skills
Proven experience with in cloud platform: Azure, GCP or AWS
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code(IAC) tolls (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of network architecture, identify and access management (IAM), cloud security practices, and CI/CD pipelines

This is a permanent position in the IT Asia regional organization. The Cloud Engineer is reporting to the Infrastructure Manager of Core IT Asia and will work closely with business functions within Asia and the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Netherlands
