YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Global Outsourcing Business Management (GOBM), the incumbent is responsible for managing ST's Outsourced Assembly and Testing (OSAT) activities in Taiwan/Korea/Japan to ensure timely delivery of service and excellent quality to our end customer through a team of competent staff.

  • Work with Central GOBM team, Business Groups and ST OSAT located in rest of the world to drive timely delivery of ST products with the right level of cycle time and quality.
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of competent employees in production control, quality, NPI in Assy/testing to drive cost, quality and service in OSAT.
  • Drive quality improvement strategy in OSATs to reduce defectivity and increase overall yield.
  • Drive NPI roll out with OSATs to ensure timely delivery of new products to end market and secure production ramp up.
  • Strategize with OSATs to reinforce and build resilience in overall supply chain such as dual sourcing of key material and qualification of alternate equipment.
  • Drive OSATs to align production output with SNOE orders.
  • Build business relationship with ST OSAT located in Taiwan/Japan/Korea.
  • To be point lead for ST strategic projects with OSAT in Taiwan/Japan/Korea.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Bachelor of science, engineering or similar
  • 15 years or more in semiconductor industry with at least 10 years of management experience
  • Prior experience in managing suppliers preferred
  • English/Chinese business proficiency
  • Good communication skills with ability to relate to senior management and engineers in production line
