Overview
Synaptics is looking for a Staff Business Systems Analyst, Supply Planning, to join our dynamic and growing organization. The role will lead S&OP, Demand and/or Supply Planning systems to service level, inventory management, and efficiency improvement. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Systems.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Provide oversight for the Sales and Operations Planning systems and processes and have key accountability for systems deployment
 - Integrate business planning insights, analytics, and decisions to create an effective supply plan that is aligned across the company
 - Work with cross-functional stakeholders to assess planning issues, examine analytics, clarify business implications/impact, outline countermeasures, plan and monitor progress, and measure performance/results to improve customer service levels/fill rate and optimize inventory
 - Provide guidance to Supply Planning team in using systems-based output
 - Compile comprehensive planning metrics monthly and engage executive stakeholders to ensure successful planning performance
 - Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle ERP modules related to Supply Chain, Inventory, and Cost Management through understanding of business requirements and translation to technical requirements, applying understanding of key dependencies and systems capabilities
 - Continuously improve the planning function (process, cadence, tools/systems) and introduce "Forward Thinking/Best Practice" solutions
 - Partner with the business to define comprehensive business requirements and deploy system-based supply planning
 - Partner with Finance, Sales, Product Divisions and Operations teams to develop and test systems solutions as well as coordinate with suppliers for data and integration activities
 - Organize, collect and analyze relevant project data and manage project work predictably Facilitate broad collaboration with clear communication and documentation
 - Support production systems and serve as systems subject matter expert for troubleshooting and ad hoc efforts across the business teams

 - Strong statistical/quantitative modeling skills with massive data sets; planning and financial analysis acumen

Qualifications (Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field or equivalent
 - 8+ years experience in supply chain management, inventory and cost management, particularly in semiconductor industry
 - Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud), ASCP, and related supply chain modules.
 - Strong proficiency in data analysis, SQL, reporting tools – Discoverer
 - Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing system implementations
 - Minimal travel up to 10% may be required
