  • Work Content The Institute of European and American Studies (IEAS) at Academia Sinica in Taiwan is seeking applications for an open-rank faculty position (Assistant Research Fellow (tenure-track), Associate Research Fellow (with consideration for tenure), or Research Fellow (with tenure); which respectively correspond to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor, but without teaching obligations). The Institute is recruiting in all areas of European and American Studies, with particularly favorable consideration in the fields of British/American/Anglophone Literature (including Cultural Studies); U.S.-Taiwan-China Relations (including U.S. foreign relations, security, and U.S. politics); Demography, Social Stratification; and EU politics, preferably EU environmental politics/Degrowth, EU external relations, preferably EU–Russia relations, EU and Central/Eastern Europe.
  • Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in hand or expect to defend the dissertation prior to 31 October 2025.
