Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate and commercial matters.
- Monitor and manage legal risks associated with business operations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed for specialized advice or litigation support.
- Support the compliance team in ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws affecting the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on legal issues and risk assessments.
- Oversee and manage legal documentation and records to maintain organizational integrity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Assistant Manager should have:
- A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Experience in corporate law, particularly in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of local legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing legal risks.
