What You'll Do
- Oversee the comprehensive management of and the mobile app to guarantee operational excellence and an outstanding user experience at every stage of the customer journey.
- Develop and implement robust performance marketing strategies—including SEM, paid social, affiliates, and more—to increase traffic, boost conversions, and drive revenue growth.
- Lead the planning, execution, and continual optimisation of digital media investments while evaluating new martech tools to enhance personalisation, automation, and conversion rate optimisation.
- Analyse user behaviour across all digital channels; identify opportunities for improvement; design and execute A/B tests; and implement enhancements to maximise conversion rates.
- Work collaboratively with Brand and CRM teams to align on campaign objectives, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies that support overall business goals.
- Mentor, guide, and develop a team of 6-7 e-commerce and digital marketing professionals by fostering a collaborative environment focused on shared success.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Manage e-commerce and digital marketing budgets efficiently to ensure maximum return on investment while supporting strategic priorities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in food retail or FMCG sectors to inform best practices in digital commerce operations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Commerce or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred for those looking to further distinguish themselves.
- At least 10 years' proven experience in e-commerce or digital marketing roles—ideally within food retail or fast-moving consumer goods environments—demonstrating consistent delivery of results.
- Demonstrated expertise managing both websites and app-based commerce platforms with a focus on operational excellence.
- Comprehensive understanding of performance marketing tactics including search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media campaigns, affiliate programmes, and other acquisition channels.
- Hands-on experience with martech solutions such as analytics platforms, CRM systems, personalisation engines, automation tools, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with strong capabilities in conversion rate optimisation (CRO) supported by data-driven decision-making processes.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring diverse teams towards collective achievement within matrix organisations.
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration across departments as well as clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is essential for success in this role given the need for cross-functional coordination.
