【What you will be doing】

  • Contract Review and Drafting: To thoroughly review, analyze, and draft legal agreements, contracts, and other documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the Taiwan and Japan markets.
  • Negotiation Support: Collaborate with relevant teams to negotiate and finalize contracts that align with company policies and objectives.
  • Identify Risks: Assess potential legal risks associated with contracts and propose appropriate strategies to mitigate them.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth contract execution and resolve any legal issues that arise.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research as needed to support the organization's legal decision-making process.
  • Task Execution: a proactive approach to executing tasks assigned by the supervisor and commitment to supporting the legal team's objectives.

【Who we are looking for】

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in contract review and legal analysis, preferably within an E-commerce or Startup company.
  • Language Skills:
  • Fluency in Japanese is a must (JLPT N1 level).
  • English: Moderate proficiency is required for effective communication with international stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil law, commercial law, and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to critically analyze complex legal documents and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and negotiate contract terms.
  • Efficiency: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a dynamic work environment.
