We're now growing our firmware engineering team in Taiwan
to develop the brains behind these systems — the embedded software that makes everything come alive.
Why This Role Excites Engineers
This isn't just another firmware role — you'll be working at the intersection of hardware, security, and user experience
, building firmware that powers real products people interact with every single day.
You'll own critical components that define how our devices connect, communicate, and stay reliable in real-world environments.
You'll:
- Develop embedded firmware for connectivity, sensors, and secure systems.
- Bring up new boards, debug complex hardware–software interactions, and tune performance.
- Work with modern stacks (RTOS/Linux-based firmware, C/C++, embedded drivers).
- Collaborate closely with hardware, Android, and cloud engineers to create a seamless experience from silicon to app.
- See your firmware run in production environments — not just in a lab.
Who You Are
- You love building low-level systems that actually do something physical.
- You've worked with MCUs, embedded Linux, or connected products.
- You think in terms of reliability, latency, and elegance — not just code syntax.
- You like working in a fast, highly collaborative startup environment.
- You take ownership and care deeply about the user experience your code enables.
Why Join Swiftlane
- Meaningful equity:
We want builders who think like owners. - High impact:
The code you write directly powers the experience people have in thousands of real buildings. - Small team, big mission:
Work closely with the founding team — no bureaucracy, real collaboration. - Growth mindset:
You'll learn across hardware, security, and cloud systems. Flexible work:
Hybrid or remote from anywhere in Taiwan. This is a rare opportunity to help define the firmware foundation for a fast-growing, global hardware company — while working in an environment that feels personal, fast-paced, and product-obsessed.
