Job Title
Country Manager, Taiwan

Reports To
Regional Head, North Asia & North America Regional Manager

Role Purpose
Primarily to support the Regional Manager North Asia & North America in delivering sales, planning and implementation of sales initiatives, marketing plans and sales analytics with the achievement of sales targets

Key Accountability

  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with trade partners, attending sales events and trade shows, promoting brands and building rapport.
  • Sales Managers also work closely with Regional Manager to identify new sales targets and appropriate strategies to drive performance.
  • Market trends and competitor activities monitoring, reactive action plans to protect and maximize MH market share.
  • Support the HQ marketing team in local marketing initiatives execution. Local sales and marketing collaterals/e-DMs preparation and distribution.
  • Market trends and competitor activities monitoring, reactive action plans to protect and maximize MH market share.
  • Build, lead, and motivate sales team to realize market potential, achieve sales, ensures that the sales team takes an exhaustive approach to each task

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree Holder in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or related disciplines
  • 5 to 6 years of relevant Sales & Marketing experience, preferably in the airlines, travel agents or related industry

Areas of Experience

  • Extensive Knowledge of airline/travel industry with experience in Sales, Marketing, Reservations & Ticketing
  • Good contact of travel agents, OTAs, corporate customer base, tourism & trade organisations
  • Able to work independently, dynamic and resourceful
  • Detail oriented, with good organizational skills i.e. Time Management, Task Management
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS office 0365

Personality Traits

  • Excellent communication skills in written & spoken English & Mandarin.
