is a Canadian-managed Taiwanese company in the business of metal recycling and import/export of physical commodity metals. Our Asia region sales office is located in Taipei City, and scrap metal processing factory located in Tainan City, Taiwan.
Global Metal Alloys is part of an international Canadian-Taiwanese group founded by Mr. Chiang Junior in 2015 in Vancouver, Canada. The origins of the group date back to 1982 in Taipei City, Taiwan, when Mrs. Chen and Mr. Chiang Senior established an import/export trading firm.
Mr. Chiang Junior established the Canadian-Taiwanese group to expand the metal trade and recycling division both domestically in Taiwan and internationally. Today, our group consists of over 117 members across Taiwan and Canada, operating in industries including real estate development, plastic and solid waste recycling, agriculture commodities distribution, metal import/export, and metal recycling.
With a current team of 12 members in Taiwan, we are seeking to expand our footprint and grow our local team with individuals who are committed to building a long-term career — not just holding a temporary job. We value a

Position Overview: Operations & Strategy Associate
We are seeking a key team member to help build and streamline operations, implement strategic initiatives, and support growth across our Taiwan operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement modern business systems to replace outdated practices.
- Conduct research on compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply creative problem-solving to operational challenges.
- Assist in HR-related tasks, including sourcing and hiring new talent.
- Source, implement, and manage enterprise software systems such as CRM, accounting, and truck scale/price management tools.
- Collaborate closely with both Taiwanese and Canadian commercial managers to ensure smooth operations across borders.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency: Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English (both conversational and written English are required for cross-border coordination).
- A person who enjoys and easily adapts to technological platforms, as the Taiwan division will be implementing new business software systems in collaboration with the Canadian team.
- Strong organizational, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in leading or coordinating projects from the ground up—such as implementing new business systems, managing teams, or overseeing multi-department initiatives— is not required but would be a strong asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary:
NT$45,000 per month. - Performance-based bonus structure:
Additional compensation opportunities tied to project success and results, subject to CEO approval. - Chinese New Year bonus
equivalent to one month's salary. - Standard Insurance covered

for project streamlining and strategic collaboration — company-paid trips that offer significant professional growth and international exposure. - On-site full-time position:
4 days per week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the headquarters office in Taipei and 1 day per week at the factory-scrap yard processing center in Tainan. - Transportation and business expenses related to travel between Taipei and Tainan will be covered by the company.
