What You'll Do

What You Bring
- BS/MS of engineering with over ten years of proven experience in firmware engineering with a focus on embedded systems design and complex platform integration projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in C, C++, assembly language programming, shell scripting, and Python for developing robust firmware solutions tailored to custom hardware needs.
- Comprehensive understanding of Linux operating system internals—including kernel architecture, application layers, inter-process communication mechanisms—and their application within embedded environments.
- Deep familiarity with low-level hardware protocols such as I2C, I3C, GPIO, USB, LTPI, SGPIO, UART, MCTP, eSPI, SSIF; able to implement these protocols according to detailed chipset specifications.
- Demonstrated capability in BMC porting—adapting open-source or proprietary BMC stacks to unique hardware configurations while optimising performance and reliability.
- Hands-on experience working with microcontrollers (including ARM-based architectures), FPGAs, bare-metal programming techniques, and security-focused firmware implementations.
- Thorough knowledge of firmware architecture principles including secure boot processes and platform root of trust establishment for enhanced data protection.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies; able to contribute effectively to iterative development cycles while managing release planning responsibilities.
