Job Description
MPS Taiwan is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support and maintain MPS IT infrastructure systems and services in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities关键职责

  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Manage user permissions, file systems, disk space, processes, and services.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage (CPU, memory, I/O, etc.).
  • Implement firewall (iptables/firewalld), SSH security policies, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Conduct regular security audits and log analysis.
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell/Python.

Required Skills所需的技能

  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information management or related degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT system engineer.
  • Proficient in Linux command-line operations and common utilities.
  • Skilled in Linux environment operations and scripting (Python/TCL/Shell).
  • Familiar with TCP/IP protocols, routing, VPN, and other network configurations.
  • Understanding of storage management (RAID, LVM, file systems like ext4/XFS).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Fluent English/Mandarin.
