The Role:
As a Senior Test Development Engineer for the Creativity, Productivity, and Gaming business unit of Logitech, you will be responsible for developing testing platforms and stations for our manufacturing line. The responsibilities include defining, developing, and deploying the test platforms/test items/equipment to ensure the best product quality for our customers. The products designed by our business units are computer mice, keyboards, and gaming peripherals with innovative technologies, shapes, and features.
Your Contribution:
- Maintain and develop the test platform with team members.
- Work with all core team members (EE/FW/ME) or ODM suppliers for the assigned new project.
- Develop test stations and integrate all SW/FW features for every TDE station of a new project.
- Deliver required test equipment system or solution to manufacturing and meet project cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
- Validate the development concept and fixture before engineering build.
- Demonstrate good skills for problem-solving and data analysis with strong logical thinking.
- Improve test efficiency and reduce test cycle time.
- Address any bugs and issues of the test stations through the engineering build.
- Ensure the TDE station delivered is effective, stable, and reliable in detecting manufacturing defects.
- Bring innovative ideas into products and system design.
- Support sustaining for continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience and knowledge of EE circuit review.
- Expert in C++ or C# programming.
- Experience and knowledge of testing development.
- Familiarity with testing equipment, sensors, computer data acquisition, and control systems development.
- Fluent communication in English.
