About The Role
The Sales Engineer is to manage all sales activities in assigned customers including maintaining and developing existing business and identifying and acquiring new business/customers to achieve sales objectives and goals through both revenue & profit.
What you will do
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Understand and execute the short-term to long-term sales strategy, to achieve the business goals & objectives
- Execute and implement the annual sales plan based on coach and guidance
- Follow-up and execute the annual customer plan for assigned customers
- Keep good communication with internal departments
- Ensure 100% compliance.
Key Account Management
- Understand and follow-up relevant customer strategy for assigned key ac-counts based on the guideline and coach
- Update the sales pipeline in CRM system timely
- Generate customer visit report timely by using CRM tool and provide feed-back about key customer intelligence
- Follow-up the customer-centricity account plan to develop new business
- Deal with complaints as interface between internal stakeholders from func-tion teams and external stakeholders (key customers, value chain partners, association, downstream players), feedback the solutions to assigned cus-tomer on complains and inquiries timely.
Business Development
- Build-up business acumen and market intelligence to identify and analyze potential business growth opportunities, understand competitive factors to support the business growth
- Understand the unmet needs of assigned customers, transfer the potential needs to Marketing and Product Management team to develop new products based on the coach and guidance
- Support market research including supply chain tracking, competitor infor-mation update and analysis, identify sales/market potential and cooperate with internal team (e.g. such as marketing, distributor team, etc.) to support further business growth and achieve sales targets
- Other assigned related tasks and projects
What you will need
Education Background
- Bachelor degree or above in chemical, business, economics, Science and Engineering or similar.
Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience Requirement
- Sales experience in Chemical / Electronics related industry will be preferred
- Good capability to communicate, cooperate and influence across teams and functions
- Good skills in stakeholder and customer management
- Good learning ability and agility
- Good sense for problem solving, can identify the problems and analyze the root reason based on the coach and guidance
- Strong willingness to grow and step out of comfortable zone with own initia-tives
- Strong willingness and ownership to achieve business growth and goals & objectives
- Good capability to work well under pressure
- Highly self-motivating, open minded and diligent attitude.
Languages, Certificates And Skills
- Chinese with fluency in Mandarin is a must
- Workable English communication skill in written and reading, good oral Eng-lish skill is a plus
Other Requirements
- Business travel is needed, should be flexible to travel frequently.
