As Fire Safety Assistant Manager
,
you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • The Fire Safety Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering
  • Execute Fire Safety maintenance plans and projects in accordance with MOHG - FLHSS&E Guidelines.
  • Hotel fire equipment maintenance repair and maintenance.
  • Managing subordinates & performing other services or duties as requested by department head.
  • Fire Safety Education and Training
  • Supervise and inspect fire safety of hotel facilities
  • Commercial contract management
  • Responsible to take active leadership in managing and upholding the Fire and Life Safety (FLHSS) in the Hotel
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing Hotel FLHSS functions as follows:
  • Fire Prevention Plan
  • Fire Hazards Elimination
  • FLS Systems inspection, testing and maintenance
  • Fire Emergency Plan
  • Ensure that the Hotel Fire Safety systems comply with local fire safety codes and regulations and corresponding Government permits & certificates are secured;
  • Ensure that Hotel Fire Safety complies with the required Corporate Policy, standards and procedures;
  • Plan and implement Fire Safety systems inspection, testing and maintenance;
  • Establish Fire Prevention and Emergency Response & evacuation procedure;
  • Ensuring that Fire Life Safety training and drills are effectively implemented.
  • Responsible for certain assigned projects. Supervises the working condition and equipment
  • Perform other assigned reasonable duties in case of emergency or necessity
  • Orientation & induction of new employees
  • Prepare & utilize induction checklist
  • Arrange on-the-job skill training
  • Annual training plan
  • Plan training activities to meet training needs
  • Set priorities & prepares monthly plans
  • Record all training
  • Conduct technical job knowledge training
  • Analyze training needs
  • List training needs on an on-going basis using guest comments, observations, and performance appraisals
  • Ensure fire protection systems operate immediately
  • Co-ordinate engineering support as required in hotel emergency procedures immediately
  • Other emergencies. Co-ordinate engineering per procedures

As Fire Safety Assistant Manager, We Expect From You

  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management/Engineering/Fire Safety is preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment or related experience
  • Knowledge of local Taiwan's Fire Services Act and regulations
  • Local national is preferred
