Role Overview

We are seeking an
Trade Systems & Digital Infrastructure Analyst
to support strategic research and policy advisory projects in the areas of cross-border logistics, digital trade ecosystems, and regulatory innovation. Based in Taipei, this role is ideal for professionals with expertise in smart infrastructure, customs reform, or East Asian trade dynamics—particularly in relation to Taiwan's role in global semiconductor supply chains and digital export competitiveness.

You will contribute to corridor strategy papers, digital trade assessments, and stakeholder engagement materials for regional and global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze regional trade systems, supply chain networks, and digital infrastructure developments
  • Support research on smart ports, blockchain-enabled trade platforms, and digital customs innovations
  • Contribute to technical reports, investment strategy memos, and cross-border trade diagnostics
  • Track policy developments in digital economy integration, semiconductor logistics, and East Asian trade alliances
  • Assist in stakeholder mapping for public, private, and multilateral actors
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver data-driven insights and strategic frameworks

Qualifications

  • Degree in International Trade, Public Policy, Technology & Innovation Policy, or Infrastructure Planning
  • 2–5 years of experience in trade advisory, digital economy research, or infrastructure strategy
  • Familiarity with Taiwan's trade systems, smart port projects, or technology supply chains is preferred
  • Strong analytical and writing skills in English
  • Experience with donor-funded, regional planning, or technology policy projects is highly valued
  • Knowledge of regional integration efforts (e.g., CPTPP, APEC) or ESG-aligned logistics is a plus
