As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to Internal Developer Platform (IDP) services for industrial software. You will ensure software quality, security compliance, and system reliability, fostering DevSecOps culture within cross-functional teams. Your role includes mentoring junior engineers, driving automation, and enhancing infrastructure resilience to support end-to-end continuous delivery and operational efficiency.
【Major Areas of Responsibility】
As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in building Moxa's next-generation Internal Developer Platform (IDP), shaping how engineering teams build and deliver industrial software. You'll lead the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, ensure security compliance and system reliability, and foster a DevSecOps culture across teams. In this role, you'll also mentor engineers, drive automation, and enhance infrastructure resilience, making a huge impact on developer experience and product quality.
Lead DevSecOps On SRE Team
-Lead E2E architecture and implementation of IDP core services, including CI/CD pipeline frameworks, security compliance automation, and developer-facing platform APIs.
-Design and integrate automated solutions to streamline software build, testing, signing, and deployment workflows across multiple product teams.
-Collaborate with SRE teammates, product security team, and product teams to gather requirements, define standard practices, and implement governance workflows aligned with SDLC and IEC 62443 compliance.
-Drive platform standardization initiatives, establishing reusable templates, libraries, and APIs to accelerate onboarding and reduce cognitive load for developers.
-Continuously evaluate new technologies, propose improvements, and lead the integration of tools and services that enhance platform scalability, security, and reliability.
-Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in backend API design, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
-Communicate complex technical concepts effectively, articulating design trade-offs and platform value propositions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
【Minimum Job Requirements】
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering with strong proficiency in designing and building APIs (e.g., using Go, Python, or )
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with expertise in CI/CD pipeline design (e.g., GitLab CI), container orchestration, and IaC (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficient in cloud environments, particularly AWS, with experience with large-scale distributed systems and high-availability architecture
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, release management, and secure software development practices (e.g., experience with SBOM, SCA, signing tools)
- Strong problem-solving and system thinking skills, with the ability to decompose complex problems and design scalable, long-term, maintainable solutions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to drive technical alignment and deliver impactful results
- Experience in designing and operating Internal Developer Platforms or platform engineering initiatives
【Required Competencies】
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and secure policy design
- Participation in open-source projects or technical communities (e.g., COSCUP, DevOpsDay)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management
- Experience with ISO 27001 audits or building systems that passed security certification
- Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solution Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
- English proficiency (TOEIC ≥ 750)
