Purpose of this Position
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities and initiatives associated with assigned Business Unit, acting as strategic partner with Business Unit's Division leadership team to provide comprehensive and integrated HR support. In addition, Moxa HR is expected to provide voice of employees and insights of organization dynamics within the Business Unit to support continued development of organization under one Moxa. It's important that HR becomes a trust-worthy partner for both employees and managers for their success at Moxa.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Consult with line management and provide HR policy and guidance.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and implements communication and change management strategies to assist managers and employees in adapting to changes in the workplace that result from organizational and divisional changes.
- Support the business process by providing human resources expertise that enhances communication, and facilitates the design of strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning. Assesses effectiveness of the organizational structure including staffing levels and job responsibilities. Identifies shortcomings and recommends appropriate actions to address development needs for all levels within the business division.
- Participate in Companywide initiatives/projects acting as divisional HR representative to provide direction and information on user needs and best practices, identifying interdependencies which have a people impact, and influencing the decisions made.
- Manage the process to establish and implement human resources best practices.
- Analyze performance metrics like statistics on employee retention and experience to come up with ideas for improvements and enhancements
- Work as a counselor, mentor, and consultant for the business leaders to inform and ask them about the strategic planning so you can easily translate the business requirements into HR initiatives and programs
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
- At least 8 years of HRBP and 15 years of HR professional experience with increased responsibility in an at least mid-size reputable company for its HR professionalism and management.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Coaching experience with Executive Coach certificate is a plus.
- Solid Learning & Development/Organization Development experience is a plus.
- Good project management skill with capability of turning ideas into constructive framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
