The HPE-Aruba Designated Engineer will provide ongoing technical support and consulting services to HPE-Aruba customers, with a focus on Aruba wireless products and solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with a consultative approach to ensure successful deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of Aruba solutions within customer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-service and post-deployment technical support for Aruba wireless products.
• Proactively educate and enhance customers' technical capabilities through informal workshops, coaching sessions, design reviews, and technical documentation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expert-level troubleshooting for Aruba product issues and ensuring interoperability with other network vendors in the customer's infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer teams to ensure alignment with WLAN architecture best practices and solution design.
Preferred Experience and Expertise:
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking.
• 3–5 years of practical experience with Aruba WLAN and wireless technologies.
• Strong ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise IP and wireless networks, including:
• IP network security, remote access, authentication, and certificate-based security
• Network Access Control (NAC) and IP network management
• Solid understanding of network troubleshooting across Layers 1–4 (including IP, MAC, RF, and some application-level analysis).
• Experience with current network security architectures and policy design, including mobile and cloud networking environments.
• Background in a consulting network engineering role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Project management skills or experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer technical support, including issue triage, ticket management, and resolution processes.
• Ability to work on-site at customer locations as required.
• Proven success in resolving complex, multi-variable technical issues with a methodical and analytical approach.
