About The Role
Uber Retail is building a Grocery and Retail (GR) marketplace in Taiwan. We are looking for a senior commercial leader to lead the GR commercial team. This role is responsible for commercial strategy, partner development and growth, and C-suite relationship management across the entire retail landscape. This is a senior position reporting directly to the General Manager (GM) of the Retail Line of Business (LOB).

*Your Impact*

  • Work closely with the GM and operations leaders to understand and adjust business objectives.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies in collaboration with the GM and operations leaders.
  • Oversee and be ultimately accountable for the commercial team's negotiation strategies and progress toward business objectives.
  • Train and develop the commercial team's capabilities in negotiation, executive relationship management, and other key areas.

*Basic Qualifications*

  • Proven experience in strategic deal-making at the C-suite level.
  • Strong track record in C-suite relationship management.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to navigate a fast-moving industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a commercial or deal-making team.

*Preferred Qualifications*

  • Experience in the CPG, food, retail, or B2C internet industry.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a commercial, sales, or deal-making team.
  • Experience managing a business with P&L ownership.
