About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive
Technology Operations Engineer
to join our
Technology Command Centre
team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of our technology operations. You will help monitor critical systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our technology stack and operational processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of driving operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of technology systems to detect issues proactively.
  • Execute incident detection protocols to identify potential service disruptions.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts to address and resolve reported issues promptly.
  • Implement recovery procedures to restore normal operations following an incident.
  • Collaborate with all Technology teams to improve service desk operations and incident management processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, including status updates and resolution steps.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and FAQs for Technology support.
  • Provide technology service desk support, ensuring efficient resolution of inquiries and fulfillment of service requests.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in IT Technology operations and support.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Good technical knowledge in application development, systems engineering, network administration, and/or database management.
