Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic
Trade Marketing Manager
to lead the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives across Taiwan. The role is responsible for translating brand strategies into impactful in-store execution, driving sell-out, strengthening channel visibility, and ensuring effective collaboration between sales, marketing, and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies that align with brand and business objectives.
  • Localize global/regional marketing plans into market-relevant trade executions.
  • Manage annual trade marketing calendar across channels (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, specialty, etc.).

Channel & Customer Marketing

  • Design and execute customer-tailored programs to drive category growth and brand share.
  • Partner with sales to create joint business plans with key retailers.
  • Strengthen brand presence and visibility at point of sale.

Promotions & Activation

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate in-store promotions, merchandising, and events.
  • Ensure excellence in execution through effective coordination with agencies, suppliers, and retail partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to recommend responsive trade tactics.

Performance & Budget Management

  • Manage and optimize trade marketing budgets with ROI-driven planning.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade campaigns and promotions.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to management.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Serve as the bridge between brand marketing and commercial teams to deliver consistent consumer and shopper experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • 6–8+ years of experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, or sales within FMCG/beauty/personal care or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan retail landscape (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, pharmacy, beauty channels).
  • Proven experience in leading in-store activation, merchandising, and trade promotions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate insights into actions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in English.
