Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets for China as well as new market entries, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee cash balance monitoring and payment processing activities to maintain smooth financial operations across different business units.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and sales analyses that support informed decision-making by management teams.
- Assist with tax filings, audit preparations, and regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Work closely with internal teams to guarantee timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within strict deadlines.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs.
- Key user for ERP + Power BI.
Key Requirements
- A minimum of five years' experience in accounting roles with proven exposure to handling full sets of accounts across different regions or industries.
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; professional certification as an accountant is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Pos system for data analysis, reconciliation tasks, and report generation.
- Excellent command of English coupled with effective communication skills in Mandarin for cross-border collaboration.
- Outstanding communication abilities that enable you to build rapport with colleagues at all levels while addressing complex issues clearly and considerately.
