Job Description
Responsible for SoC/system-level performance and power analysis and optimization.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and architecture teams to drive performance and power improvement initiatives.
Conduct in-depth analysis of system bottlenecks and propose effective optimization solutions.
Participate in the development and tuning of technologies such as DVFS, low-power design, and system resource management.
Optimize Windows PPM (Processor Power Management) settings for Windows on platforms to enhance system performance and power efficiency.
Analyze and tune Windows Power Management settings to ensure optimal performance and minimal power consumption across various usage scenarios.
Prepare technical reports and documentation, and provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
Requirement
Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Over 5 years of experience in SoC/system performance and power optimization.
Proficient in SoC architecture (ARM/x86) and operating systems (Android/Linux/Windows).
Skilled in performance and power analysis tools (such as perf, trace, power profiler, power modeling).
Experience with DVFS, low-power design, and system resource management.
Capable of conducting in-depth analysis of system bottlenecks and proposing optimization solutions.
Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills; able to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects.
Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in CPU/GPU/SoC product development.
Familiarity with WoA (Windows on ARM) platform architecture and experience in optimizing Windows PPM (Processor Power Management) settings.
In-depth understanding of Windows Power Management software architecture, including power policy, power states, driver interactions, and OS power frameworks.
Experience in developing or tuning Windows power management drivers (such as ACPI, PEP, power framework).
Proficient in configuring Windows power policies and adjusting performance/power profiles.
Experience in mobile, IoT, or automotive product development.
Experience in customer technical support or international collaboration.
