Role Summary
The Assistant to the COO plays a critical managerial role in supporting group operations, project execution, and subsidiary coordination for a Frankfurt-listed company. The position requires strong analytical, legal, and financial literacy—particularly in

—to ensure that strategic initiatives, operational performance, and compliance standards are seamlessly executed across subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Asset Injection Support
- Support COO in
asset injection and corporate development projects
, coordinating deliverables, timelines, and documentation. - Assist with financial and legal review processes in line with
IFRS and German GAAP
standards. - Prepare supporting materials for auditors, valuation reports, and board review.
2. Subsidiary Management & Governance
- Coordinate and monitor
monthly reporting, operational KPIs, and compliance activities
across subsidiaries. - Ensure alignment with German and European corporate law requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date subsidiary governance records and liaise with legal and finance teams on statutory filings.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Draft, review, and organize
presentations, reports, and board packs
related to operations and strategic initiatives. - Support COO in preparing executive summaries, due diligence documentation, and investor updates.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between HQ, subsidiaries, auditors, and legal advisors.
- Facilitate communication flow between departments to ensure operational alignment and timely issue resolution.
5. Financial & Operational Support
- Track budgets, project expenditures, and performance metrics.
- Support the development and implementation of
group-level operational policies and procedures

6. Research & Strategic Analysis
- Conduct research and financial analysis to support
decision-making, due diligence, and market assessments
. - Summarize findings into actionable insights and recommendations for the COO.
7. Administrative & Confidential Support
- Handle sensitive corporate and financial information with the highest level of discretion.
- Coordinate logistics for management meetings, internal reviews, and corporate events.
Qualifications
- Education:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field. - Preferred Certifications:
CFA, CPA, or legal qualification
(Taiwan, EU, or other recognized jurisdiction). - Experience:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in finance, legal, or operational management—ideally within a
listed company, M&A, or multinational environment
. - Strong working knowledge of
IFRS, German GAAP, and European corporate governance
. - Excellent
written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
. - Competent in developing
presentations, analytical reports, business proposals, and governance documents
. - Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
and familiarity with
project management or collaboration tools
(e.g., Asana, SharePoint, Notion). - Demonstrated
proactivity, ownership, and strategic mindset
with the ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines.
