The Opportunity:

SCM Solution
is exclusively recruiting on behalf of
Our Client
, a high-growth AI hardware company based in San Jose, CA.

Our Client is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on
Manufacturing Operations Program Manager (OPM)
to be their critical in-region leader in Taiwan. You will be the primary on-site execution owner at a Tier 1 Contract Manufacturer (L10), responsible for the successful ramp and sustained, high-volume production of
Our Client's
core AI hardware, including
advanced package assembly and server construction
.

This is a critical, high-impact role where you will directly own factory performance. You will serve as the essential bridge between
Our Client's
HQ in San Jose and the Taiwan manufacturing site, ensuring quality, throughput, and readiness at every stage of the build process. If you thrive in high-volume, precision-oriented environments and are an expert in on-the-ground problem-solving, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Execution Ownership

  • Directly own and drive
all manufacturing execution at the Taiwan-based Tier 1 Contract Manufacturer (L10) for high-volume production.
  • Set the day-to-day operational direction
for the factory while strategically planning and executing for long-term scalability and efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee and optimize
production performance across all stages (SMT, mechanical assembly, test), relentlessly driving to meet or exceed yield, quality, and output targets.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Problem Solving

  • Manage material readiness, WIP status, and production bottlenecks
    in close collaboration with
    Our Client's
planning, supply chain, and engineering teams.
  • Lead the resolution
of critical technical issues (DFx, yield fallout, rework) by coordinating efforts between
    Our Client
    and L10 engineering counterparts.
  • Align and execute
on all New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, Mass Production (MP) ramps, and formal change control procedures, including ECOs and process updates.

Visibility & Communication

  • Establish and maintain
real-time visibility into build progress, identifying deviations and potential risks before they impact schedule or cost.
  • Serve as Our Client's primary representative
in build reviews, supplier audits, and formal quality assessments.
  • Facilitate clear, efficient, and timely communication
between the L10 factory team in Taiwan and
    Our Client's
    HQ in San Jose.

Qualifications

    Tier 1 Contract Manufacturers
    in Taiwan or Asia-based fabs.
  • Demonstrated ability
to travel regularly to the L10 factory and manage execution in person.
  • Exceptional communication and bilingual proficiency
    (
    Mandarin and English
    is strongly preferred).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with
    AI ASIC or HBM
    package-level manufacturing.
  • Prior experience coordinating with substrate vendors, test socket suppliers, or probe card manufacturers.
  • An engineering background in electrical, mechanical, or packaging domains.
  • Exposure to Mass Production (MP) ramp planning or formal cost-of-yield improvement initiatives.
