Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, highly driven leader to oversee our Affluent /High Net Worth (HNW) Segment within the Consumer Banking Group. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing our Wealth Continuum strategy, strengthening our Affluent & HNW customer value proposition, and driving sustainable portfolio growth. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of wealth management, customer insights, and segment lifecycle dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Segment Strategy & Proposition Development

  • Lead the end-to-end Affluent/HNW segment strategy, including customer lifecycle management and wealth continuum positioning.
  • Strengthen the Affluent/HNW value proposition across banking, investment, lending and lifestyle privileges.
  • Identify and assess new segment opportunities based on market, competitor intelligence, and customer insights.
  • Drive commercial initiatives to expand affluent and emerging HNW pipelines through upgrade pathways.

Portfolio Management & Business Growth

  • Develop and monitor key KPIs: customer growth, investment penetration, AUM, share-of-wallet, and revenue contribution.
  • Partner with Product, Branch Distribution, Marketing, and Digital teams to drive business performance and deliver superior customer experience.
  • Lead portfolio deep dives to identify CVP and customer journey gaps, segment differentiation, and growth opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Specialists, Relationship Managers, Sales Management Office, and Distribution Leaders to translate strategy into frontline execution.
  • Manage campaign planning, offering enhancements, and tactical sales enablement tools.
  • Influence cross-functional senior stakeholders to unlock commercial synergies.

Governance & Customer Experience

  • Ensure propositions and initiatives adhere to regulatory and risk frameworks.
  • Oversee VOC, NPS and service quality standards for Affluent/HNW clientele.
  • Champion continuous improvement in customer experience across journeys.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Affluent/HNW segment team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, agility and innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in wealth management, HNW/affluent banking, or segment marketing/strategy.
  • Proven track record in driving commercial outcomes within financial services.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business case formulation skills.
  • High stakeholder influence, communication and presentation skills.
  • Team leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory environment related to consumer/wealth banking.
  • Commercial mindset with strong customer-centric view.
  • Able to lead cross-functional initiatives with speed and impact.
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and execution-focused environments.
  • Data-driven decision maker with ability to simplify complexity.
