Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Desktop Support (EUC L1) Engineer located in Taipei, Taiwan. The Desktop Support Engineer will handle day-to-day tasks such as providing support for desktop computers, printers, and troubleshooting technical issues. Responsibilities include offering desk top support to users, managing hardware and software installations, and ensuring seamless IT operations.
- Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, direct and manage the operations team for the region
- Ensure the team adhere to the required guidelines and procedures relating to data bearing assets
- Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track
- Monitoring and report progress through project milestones and resolving any roadblocks that arise
- Provide the Mobile Technology Standardization Program Lead with all relevant Program updates
- Liaise with global counterparts to ensure consistency and success across the Program
Ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
Key Skills\Experience
- A wide range of experience in a Technology role, preferably in the financial or Investment Banking industry
- Able to demonstrate strong team leadership skills
- Proven experience of adherence to detailed processes
- Self-motivated personality with a very high level of attention to detail
- The ability to maintain and develop formal and informal relationships with key stakeholders and with peers globally to ensure a consistent approach in each region.
- The ability to multi-task in a high paced and demanding environment is crucial
- Ability to communicate at all levels of management.
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware and components
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
