Senior Network Engineer
Location: Taiwan
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Taiwan-based team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network architecture, SD-WAN technologies, and enterprise-level network operations. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions across our global infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability. - Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity across data centers, cloud platforms, and branch offices.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, NSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Preferred Skills:
Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting). - Familiarity with ITIL processes and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and SASE frameworks.
