About Tensor Tech

TensorTech was established in 2019 and specializes in the Attitude Determination and Control Sub-system (ADCS) of satellites. We are committed to providing customers with lighter, smaller, and more power-efficient solutions, helping them reduce mission costs and enhance the commercial value of their satellites. We position ourselves as a Design & Test house in the space industry, focusing on the research, design, assembly, calibration, and testing of satellite-related products. Currently, our customers and partners include private enterprises and research institutions from the United States, Europe, and Asia.

About the job

As Business Development and Sales Manage, you will play a key role in promoting Attitude Control and Determination Systems products, services and technologies, driving revenue growth and strengthening our market position. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you'll oversee daily sales activities and ensure effective execution of our sales strategy. You'll build strong customer relationships, track performance against targets, and provide valuable market insights to shape future strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Full Sales Cycle Responsible, from early business development and prospect identification up until deal-closure and account management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish connections with potential clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients of Tensor Tech.
  • Conference and Exhibition Representation: Attend industry conferences and exhibitions to represent the company. Introduce our products and services, and deliver technical presentations on our technologies.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule in-person or online meetings based on client availability and visit potential and existing clients on an irregular basis.
  • Prepare Presentations and Proposals: Create presentations, documents and proposals to address new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Distributors: Work with distributors or partners to explore new business opportunities.
  • Negotiation with Clients: Negotiate with potential clients on timelines, budgets, and trade-offs related to products and services.
  • Client System Requirement Analysis: Assist potential clients in determining their system requirements by collaborating with ADCS and system engineer colleagues.
  • Government Bids: Explore business opportunities in government bids and assist in the application and execution process.
  • Quotation and Sales Management: Provide quotations or answer RFPs from potential clients, track decision-making or procurement status, execute internal sales processes, and follow up on customer satisfaction.
  • CRM and Sales Analysis: Maintain internal sales management systems, including the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, and analyze sales data to make informed decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Understanding: Ability to comprehend engineering concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in English Communication: Capable of conducting meetings entirely in English with ease.
  • Extensive Business Development Experience: Proven track record in business development and client relationship management of at least 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive Network in the Space Industry: Possess a well-connected network that can help the company penetrate international markets and clients.
  • Experience with Government Projects: Maintain close interactions with governments and space agencies, with experience in applying for government projects and bids.
  • Familiarity with the Space Industry: Knowledgeable about the space industry or related technical disciplines.
  • Logistics and Shipment: Knowledgeable about logistics, shipment and customs processes.
  • Additional Language Proficiency: Candidates who speak another language in addition to English will be preferred
