Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the PC ecosystem to create and deliver cutting-edge touchpad products.
- Drive visionary leadership and strategic planning for the touch, sense, and haptic product portfolio targeting PCs.
- Translate the needs of OEMs into comprehensive product requirements.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap for Touch, Sense, and Haptics ICs dedicated to notebook touchpad applications.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the PC OEM touchpad market and actively monitor competitor advancements in haptics and sensing.
- Establish effective strategies and business models to boost adoption of touchpad technology in PC notebooks, including identifying key partners and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Build and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders and industry partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—sales, marketing, engineering, and others—to align strategies and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in the semiconductor industry, especially within mixed-signal, touch, sense, and haptic sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and commercializing PC touchpad solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of haptic and/or sensing technologies (capacitive & force), DSP, actuator closed-loop control (LRAs or VCMs)
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with OEMs, ODMs, and to lead cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical abilities, communication skills, and presentation proficiency.
