Key Responsibilities
- Develop project-specific engineering documentation including drawings, installation procedures, task risk assessments, and work methods.
- Prepare subcontract scopes of work and review technical documentation from subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate project preparation and execution activities.
- Act as a senior interface for the Project Engineering Manager.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers.
- Identify and coordinate project equipment and material requirements.
- Manage administrative aspects of engineering tasks as needed.
- Participate in project execution both onshore and offshore.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the offshore energy industry; cable installation experience is a plus.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams within a project environment.
- Strong understanding of offshore engineering methods, planning processes, and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and offshore installation best practices.
- Experience working with trenching equipment and managing subcontractors or vendors.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on and pragmatic approach.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
