Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in SoC Software, Architecture, or system-level hardware validation, with a focus on mobile, IoT, or consumer electronics.
- Experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and network analyzers for mixed-signal validation in a mobile context.
- Experience in power conversion topologies such as Buck, Boost, and Low-Dropout Regulators (LDOs), as well as control loop theory and stability analysis for mobile systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in power electronics, PMIC systems, or system-level hardware validation, with a focus on mobile, IoT, or consumer electronics.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with mobile high-speed interfaces and protocols, such as I2C, SPI, and System Power Management Interfaces.
- Understanding of power supply layout techniques and thermal design, for compact mobile devices.

In this role, you will conduct analysis, benchmark the products against performer Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) solutions for performance, features, and power efficiency. You will be developing product strategies and will ensure the mobile SoCs maintain a leading advantage. You will apply the lab skills to validate and debug system-level power issues, leveraging an understanding of mobile battery chemistry, charging algorithms, and compact hardware layouts.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SoC architects and Integrated Circuit (IC) design teams to define and specify the PMIC and power delivery requirements for new mobile chipsets.
- Consider constraints related to performance, power consumption, and thermal efficiency for mobile devices.
- Conduct technical analysis of performer mobile SoC PMIC solutions, including benchmarking performance, features, and power efficiency.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and areas for product differentiation to inform strategy.
