Product Management Consultant
in
Taipei
to lead Brand Experience initiatives within the Client Solutions Group, as well as drive strategic product-related programs.

We are seeking a candidate with strong strategic thinking and business acumen, who is comfortable working with emerging technologies, demonstrates innovative and entrepreneurial drive, is highly data-driven, and excels at influencing across organizations and communicating effectively.

What you'll achieve

As a Brand Experience and Product Management Consultant, you will identify new growth areas, technologies, and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize Display and Peripherals bundle with products/solutions for current and future generation products, by partnering closely with cross functional teams on product strategies for the business.

You will also identify key business opportunity investments needed through key stakeholders and data analytic tools, throughout the product lifecycle to ensure we drive healthy share and stay market leaders. Working with platform teams to add any needed mid-life features as well as helping to influence successor products are part of the job scope.

You will:

  • Track product RUM metrics, business commit attainment and market share and drive demand strategy actions with regional teams where needed.
  • Closely track the health of the product and portfolio and drive the right direction with the respective responsible functions
  • Drive go-to-market activities with messaging and regional marketing teams to drive pipeline growth and maturity
  • Update product plan based on market changes and technology availability
  • Drive a clean product transition (previous gen to current gen) and end of life planning. Ensure product is launch with meaningful business case while maintaining appropriate transition timelines

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in defining product strategy, including identifying differentiated positioning to help Dell to win
  • Business and entrepreneurial acumen with strategic, critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. Solid grasp of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions, and proven ability to drive alignment across cross functional teams without direct authority
  • Experience defining and collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope and scheduling and deploying competitive and innovative products alongside product platforms
  • Experience in writing product and customer requirements and using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize decision-making.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin with strong communication and presentation skills to influence cross functional stakeholders and executives across geographies

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA degree or other Master of Business degree preferred. 12+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management and/or program management experience preferred and able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring daily decision making, business modeling and business case development skills
  • Excellent understanding of competitors and partner strategies to best position our products
