The Role:
We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to be part of our Cloud Service and Application Development team. If you have passion for innovation and engineering excellence, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
In this role, you will work with UI/UX designer, frontend developers, and devops developers to deliver innovative cloud based solutions to in house users across multiple domains, including engineering, manufacturing, sustainability, finance and so on.

In this role you will:
- Work closely with the team in the business solution design and software development
- Contribute to backend system implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production changes
- Discover and identify best practices and adequate technologies to deliver great software solutions or improve overall efficiency in an agile environment
- Respond to emergencies with accurate technical assessments and solid solutions
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
- 3+ years of development experience in cloud services and cloud-based environments(e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in Java development (Spring Boot is a plus)
- Experience with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Experience in designing and developing Restful API
- Ability to work with Linux based operating systems.
- Good understanding of computer science and network fundamentals
- Proven ability to collaborate with teams and prioritize tasks based on timeline and effectiveness
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
- Experience with data streaming platforms like Kafka or MQTT
- Familiarity with standard security practices and web standards
- Capability of network and system-wide troubleshooting
- Experience in performance tuning and testing automation
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
