1. Governance, Compliance & Controls
- Oversee both internal and external audit engagements, serving as the senior contact to ensure smooth reviews and timely resolution of issues.
- Direct statutory reporting and tax compliance, including planning initiatives and local submissions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Manage liquidity planning, treasury compliance, and approvals for sensitive payments.
- Collaborate with regional counterparts and shared service teams to meet reporting requirements and sustain a strong control environment.
- Evaluate and refine policy applications and delegation levels, identifying opportunities for simplification while remaining compliant with regional standards.
- Drive automation and process reallocation, shifting transactional activities to shared services to create capacity for more value-added analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and act as a mentor for complex or non-standard financial matters.
2. Business Planning & Analytical Partnership
- Work closely with commercial and functional leaders to deliver insights that enhance business performance.
- Produce and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance reviews to senior management.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, supporting strategic and long-range financial planning.
- Guide the team in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations.
- Champion cross-functional initiatives to optimize processes and deploy systems that strengthen operations.
3. Leadership & Talent Development
- Build a strong finance team, ensuring succession planning and talent pipeline readiness.
- Lead and coach direct reports through regular feedback, mentoring, and performance management.
- Allocate responsibilities clearly, set measurable goals, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across the team.
