This role is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and subcontracting of medium and high-voltage equipment at solar power plants across Taiwan. The engineer ensures stable and safe operation of the facilities.
[Key Responsibility]
- Conduct routine inspections and operations of 161KV/69KV substations in Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan regions
- Inspect high-voltage control systems, protection relays, UPS, and DC support systems
- Inspect solar power system components including mounting structures, inverters, modules, grounding systems, and lightning protection systems
- Execute improvement projects and routine maintenance for both electrical and solar systems, including subcontracting
- Maintain fire protection systems, civil infrastructure, water supply and drainage systems, and generator systems at solar sites
- Demonstrate strong safety awareness and comply with company occupational health and safety policies
- Support plant operations and assist with on-site tasks as needed
- Operate and inspect high-voltage testing instruments (e.g., Partial Discharge, infrared, transformer oil analysis)
- Use GNSS for site positioning, land surveying, and monitoring in coordination with national land monitoring systems
- Monitor corrosion based on site conditions and implement preventive measures in accordance with ISO corrosion standards
