Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the monthly database of materials, equipment, and service prices.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and budget estimates to support project development, construction, and O&M activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure a stable supply chain.
- Assist in preparing RFQs, purchase requests, and payment documentation.
- Manage procurement processes related to engineering support, EPC projects, and O&M, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and confirming payment milestones.
- Handle construction or O&M change orders, cost evaluations, temporary expenditures, and payment applications.
- Support the Contract Manager in assessing contractor variations or claims.
- Compile RFQ responses, conduct cost and technical comparisons, and prepare summary reports for management review.
- Participate in site inspections and project reviews to support technical and cost evaluations.
- Attend industry exhibitions to stay informed on new solar technologies, materials, and equipment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Technical Director.
Requirements
- Background in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3 years of local experience in the solar, renewable energy, or construction industries.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, cost analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; able to communicate effectively with local and international suppliers and contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software.
- Strong business integrity and professional ethics; able to maintain fair and stable business relationships.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
- Submit biweekly progress reports to management.
