Job Description
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement APIs to support seamless integration across platforms.
- Optimize system performance for scalability, availability, and resilience.
- Leverage cloud-native technologies, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, and Kubernetes.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to automate cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in test-driven development (TDD) and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps practices.
- Document technical workflows and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 5+ years of working experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on expertise with GCP services and container orchestration (e.g., GKE).
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating in English.
- Passionate about staying current with backend and cloud technology trends.
